SpyGlass Enables Consumer Driven Health

FSA's, HSA's and debit-card linked accounts are key for giving consumers a more central role in managing their health related spending. It gives them more control, and when offered in conjunction with employee benefit plans, delivers lower costs for your health fund, for you, and for them.

Beacon has integrated with Evolution Benefits (EB) and their Benny Card debit-card linked accounts. The integration puts SpyGlass as the eligibility point of record, letting the employee drive it all from there. Employees can login securely to establish the key choices and elections for their plans, such as annual pledge, dependent child allowance, frequency off contribution, etc.

From the outset, SpyGlass releases updates to EB for issuance of ID cards automatically. Transactons from either the debit card side or the claims processing operation are synchronized automatically. Employees can verify benefits and see claim related expenses online. This kind of technology support lets even small and medium plans operate like the big guys.
